  • There is no point in lying in bed all day. However that does not mean you run around. But you will have to bring down the level of your work.
  • Try and sleep on a mattress which is neither too firm nor too soft.
  • A lot of back pain is caused due to stress in your life. Though it is not an easy thing to say, you have to try and reduce the amount of stress and do some relaxing.

You will need a lot of support for doing the lower back pain home treatment. You have to be disciplined and not let yourself go at all. These issues are easily cured when caught and treated early. If you let them stay then it is bound to become really painful.

The lower back muscles are very important to the structure of the body as a whole. They help to support and stabilise the spinal cord and hence maintain the structure of the whole system. Thus it is also very important that they should be exercised. Like the rest of the body, even the back muscles can suffer major injuries. There can be a rupture or even a tear and this will cause lower back muscles pain.
How can one help prevent such pain? For that you will have to maintain a really good body and exercise often. But that should not be just any exercise. It will have to be those which are specially meant for the lower back muscles. These usually include the stretches and the extensions.

Stretch to be fit:

One of the best ways to do things is by doing the stretches. These exercises help to stretch the muscles of the lower back and help to release a lot of stress. Here is how you do a basic stretch:

  • You have to lie down on your back and then keep your feet in a flat position on the floor.
  • Now, the bands should be on the back of the thighs.
  • Pull your legs in the direction of the chest.
  • Do this to stretch lower back muscles. You will soon feel a slight pull in your legs and back muscles.
  • You must keep in this position for a minimum of fifteen seconds
  • Go back to the start and then repeat for around 10 times.

Another one that you could do includes:

  • Lie face upwards with bent knees and flat feet.
  • Now start rotating your hips to the left
  • while doing this, try bringing the legs down
  • you will feel a slight tug again.
  • Keep this for the same time again
  • Again go back to square one and start all over.

These are some of the easier of the exercises which stretch lower back muscles .  Do them and make your life easier.

There is a reason why you need to do lower back strengthening exercises for women. You need good lower back muscles for a good stomach and also for your spinal cord as well. It helps to strengthen the abdominal muscles. Here are some more reasons:
